A series of small exhibitions in the atrium for the anniversaries of the eights: February 1948, August 1968 and October 1918. The basis of the exhibition is a 3-metre high wall or “gallery noticeboard” on which collages will be rotated according to the anniversary.
The collages will consist of various types of artistic materials (paintings, photographs, documents), primarily from the collections of the Slovak National Gallery.
From August the board commemorates the Warsaw Pact invasion in 1968 and in October it will commemorate the declaration of Czechoslovak independence in 1918.
Part of the project will include a noticeboard dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Slovak National Gallery, on the other side of the panel and will be displayed throughout the year.
The gallery is closed on Mondays. Admission is free.
