LSE Central European Conference

4th March 2023 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

The theme of the sixth CEC conference is Pathways: Building (Y)our Future. It will focus on the prospective sectors for a career in the region, look at the future of its markets, and discuss contemporary issues, threats, and opportunities that Central Europe presents.

Participate in a multi layered debate through panels, workshops, and ‘success story talks’. There will be speakers from industries and academia and young successful Czechs and Slovaks who pursued unconventional career paths after their studies abroad.

Peter Fiala, Czech Prime Minister

Having first entered politics as the Minister of Education, Professor Fiala is also an internationally recognised political scientist and during his academic career, he focused on topics such as European integration, political extremism, and religion.
